Revit is CAD'like software that has limited range of options when it comes to modeling and rendering and its specifically designed to aid Engineers and Architects, while 3ds Max has almost unlimited modeling capabilities that anybody can take advantage of for the creative porpoises.

This is my last choice after a really long research and I was wondering, what you think about the specs and if the GPU is ok since it is not certified by Autodesk for 3ds max? It is certified for Arnold thought…. I’m a bit confused, windows laptops are a whole science! Also it has this display : 16" WQXGA (2560 x 1600), IPS, Anti-Glare, Non-Touch, HDR 400, 100%sRGB, 500 nits, 240Hz, Narrow Bezel, Low Blue Light. Do you think the resolution and the colour accuracy are enough for arch viz? I’m really sorry for the super specific questions! I’m afraid to buy the wrong one…😬

@azot6016 No worries, it's fine to ask questions. With this budget, I would consider a desktop, but if you value mobility, then your choice sounds great. If you plan to use the laptop you mentioned for archvis, it is more than sufficient. 32 GB of RAM is excellent, the CPU is very fast, and it benchmarks well in Corona. The GPU is not really that crucial in this case, as we typically focus more on the CPU, so that is again more than sufficient and should work fine with GPU applications like Vantage. The resolution of your screen is great; an IPS matrix is what you need, and 240Hz means nothing as I generally work on 60Hz. I guess there aren't that many jumping monsters in the 3ds Max viewport :) Pro tip: if you do not plan to work with Pixar, most of your clients will view your work on their phones anyway, so don't worry too much about colours. Depends but web standard is 4x2k, but if you do it for quality 8x4k
